Zoo Time

Short blog for the night. After a very long and hot day at the BREC Zoo, I'm completely sore, sunburnt, and exhausted. I spent the day with Scott, Keera (sister-in-law), and Zachary (nephew). Zach looked liked he said such a great time. Scott was even kind enough and bought him a turtle figurine that looked like the turtles that the two of them were playing with in the pond. Even big Scott had a bunch of fun. I finally got to see him loosen up and act like a little kid. It was really cute. :) Well anyways, felt the need to share some pictures from the day and also last night Scott and I dyed some eggs for Easter. So with that, goodnight. Another, longer post to come sometime Thursday I hope.

First Post (exclamation point, exclamation point)

Hey! Well... this is my first post on here so don't judge me too harshly! Mostly my blog is going to be very random things that happened during my day, pictures to help demonstrate better, or just to vent about something that happened to me at work. So first things first, today's post is just going to mostly be about my lovely shopping spree I partook with Scott (the boyfriend) and Sarah (my alcoholic friend, jk!).
9am.
Went to work and it was jam packed with customers buying last minute hair bows for last minute Easter pictures or last minute inexpensive Easter basket items. Alyssa (fellow hair bow sales rep/friend since high school) worked with me today and it was quite boring once she got there. Not because I don't love her company and all... but it seemed to have died down once it became time for me to leave.
4pm.
Anyways, so after that me and Scotty went to Jason's for lunch then we went to the dollar store to buy Easter basket stuff for my two nephews and also bought some random items for my apartment as well!
To name a few: three piece funnel set and two AWESOME mugs. For the price compared with the quality, I'd say this was one great deal.
Dollar Tree; $1.00 each
5pm.
Then afterwards, we met Sarah at World Market to buy booze! And ofcourse she just HAD to show me an amazing ZEBRA mug that I absolutely could not resist. If there's one thing (okay multiple things) that I CAN NOT resist, it's a black fleur de lis and zebra. There's a little ceramic zebra inside the mug at the bottom. I'm going to be that dumb blond who forgets its there when I'm drinking my coffee and freak out when it's head peaks out!
Zebra Mug; World Market; $4.99
So in addition to buying yet another mug, I got my newest favorite wine. It's pretty amazing. It goes really well with cheese and any type of seafood. Very useful during Lenten season.
Riesling; World Market; $11.99
Well I believe that's enough posting for the night. Many more posts throughout the week to come. Sneak peeks: Easter egg dying, Avery Island, cleaning my makeup brushes, and Easter egg basket goodies.
